X-Rite’s MA-5 QC

The MA-5 QC is a compact and easy-to-use multi-angle spectrophotometer with five standard measurement angles to accurately evaluate and control metallic colors and special effect finishes. X-Rite’s Color iQC

Color iQC is a configurable, job-based software system that allows users to work on a job using process and material templates that contain pre-defined standards, tolerances, and settings. With Color iQC, brands, suppliers, and manufacturers can define instrument calibration and measurement modes and ensure correct color measurement practices, regardless of location or software configuration.

Color iQC analyzes why color errors occur, identifies leading indicators to enable adjustments to the process and ensure final products meet color expectations. X-Rite’s Ci7860

A typical production workflow includes many potential opportunities for color errors. Variations in the production process itself, from the composition of raw materials to the environmental conditions under which a product is produced, are one source of error. Differences in color measurement procedures are a second source.
The new Ci7860 has an inter-instrument agreement specification of 0.06 average Delta E*; this represents a 25 percent improvement over other sphere spectrophotometers.  As a result, the Ci7860 enables brands to create the most precise master color standards and communicate these digitally, in place of physical samples, to supply chain partners. Suppliers can use the Ci7860 or other devices in the Ci7000 series to verify that both samples and the final product are achieving customers’ strictest color tolerances.

Konica’s Spectrophotometer

The CM-26dG & CM-26d, are the successors to the CM-2600d and CM-2500d spectrophotometers widely used in the industry. The new devices are portable sphere type spectrophotometers with horizontal alignment, ideal for measuring the colour of flat or large samples. The devices deliver measurement data including (SCI) and excluding (SCE) surface conditions in one measurement sequence, at Ultra-High Speed. With  both 8mm and 3mm measuring apertures, the devices perfectly adapt to small sample sizes, the CM-26dG is also able to measure the gloss of a surface with a true, ISO compliant 60° gloss sensor.
